Remember when you were in grade school and you knew one kid who was allergic to milk? One kid! Now we have designated tables for kids in school lunchrooms across the country so they can stay safe from the foods that can harm them.
More and more we are finding out that lots of kids have allergies. Tree nuts, peanuts, gluten and more are showing up as food sensitivities or allergies but why?
Below is an interview Family First’s Marijo Tinlin did with nutritionist Rachel Brandeis who has worked this field for 15 years and has witnessed the increases in children’s food allergies.
