Utah Photo Wild

When you think of Utah landscape, what do you think of? Deserts? Mountains? Fast rivers? Huge canyons?
Well, the fact is that Utah is all of that, and more. But don’t take my word for it. Visit today’s FamilyFirst site and see for yourself.
It’s called Utah Photo Wild, and it features some of the most stunning photography you have ever seen. Here’s their mission:
Utah is one amazing place. The geology of the Colorado Plateau creates a landscape unique on this planet – a place of great beauty – lush with growth, yet harsh and unforgiving at the same time. Incised with great canyons, flowing with water, and ornamented with paintings and chipped images from ancient peoples. Utah Photo Wild presents the photography of Tom Jones, as he tries to capture the essence of that which makes this land special.
Jones knows his photography, believe me. His work is amazing.
Check out the photos of Delicate Arch. There is a magical moment for photographers: when the sun is shining, and the sky is dark with storm clouds. Jones has perfectly nailed this beautiful natural formation just before the sky turned loose.
He also captures cave paintings equally well. I want to know where ancient Americans in Utah found out about jellyfish!
He also has a shot of ancient hand prints. Wow, that’s getting up close and personal with history.
There are a hundred or so photos that enlarge into great web resolution. You’ll come away thinking that Utah is one of the most beautiful places on earth.
And you’ll be right. Enjoy.
