Times Square 2000December 31, 1999 No Comments
Here it is. The day we have all been waiting for, and to some extent, dreading. It is the last day of the last month of the last year of this millennium. Tomorrow we will be doing something that hasn’t been done for a thousand years – using the number two to start our years with. But that is tomorrow. Today (and tonight) let’s look at one last site for the year.
What better place to visit that the one that is most associated with this annual celebration? I am talking about Times Square in New York City. This has long been a cultural icon when one talks about New Year’s Eve. At this site you can watch the preparation for the celebration, find out the schedule for Times Square, view the FAQ for the site, and look at the facts and trivia that surround this fabled spot in New York.
This will be a great site to visit if for some reason you are not able to partake of the festivities. Share this site with others who may not be able to as well, it will be a great way to celebrate the birth of a new year.
