The Ventura Files
December 2, 1998 No Comments
I would like to be able to say you read it here first, but that just isn’t so. It has been the talk of new shows, tabloids, and talk shows. The subject is a true rags to riches success story ala’ 1990′s style. I am talking about the election of one Jesse Ventura as the governor of the state of Minnesota.
The site is called The Ventura Files, and is an online clearing house of information, both current and past, about the man that has astounded national politics. His straight forward, common sense approach to politics has captured the pulse of his state, and he was rewarded by being elected to it’s highest office. There is a lot of information here, as well as pictures and an interactive poll.
If you are interested in this event, check out the site. This may be the wave of the future, where average everyday citizens are elected to public office. But then our founding fathers would have had it no other way, I am sure.
