The Interview With God

In the early 1950′s there was film made called “The Next Voice You Hear”. It starred James Whitmore and Nancy Davis (the former First Lady). It was the story of what happened when God spoke to the world over the radio for a week. It was an entertaining and thought provoking movie that ran rampant with the 1950′s concept of family values. But underneath the plot was a message that came through then and still sounds loud today. That message is that God loves us, and will care for and protect us. When I came across today’s Family First Site, it made me think of that film, and of that message.

The site is called “The Interview With God”. The site is is part of the Get Inspired Now series which includes Pathways to Peace, and other spiritual and uplifting messages. Their goal is to create beautiful, inspiring presentations that make a positive difference in the lives of millions of people around the world.
Their mission statement is “In a world of uncertain times, we strive to be a gentle reminder that we are not alone. Our mission is to make a positive contribution to the well-being of our world, and to be a major and measurable force for good on the World Wide Web, by creating experiences of inspiration that warm the heart and touch the soul.” In viewing this site, it reminds one of the message of the above movie, that there is an all-present, all-loving God, who will always love and never forsake us.
