The Glenn Miller Orchestra

I have been reviewing sites in the past that were oriented towards younger visitors to cyberspace. Today I have one that the young set can share with their grandparents. It will bring back memories of dancing cheek to cheek under the moonlight, while the music played softly in the background.

The name of the site is The Glenn Miller Orchestra, and is the online presence of one of the most famous big band leader s of all time. He died while on active duty in England in World War 2, but the sound he created, the clarinet lead, has lived on to this day. This orchestra is operated under the guidance of the Miller family, and continues to tour the country (and the world) today. Here you can find out about the history of the band, buy their records and CDs (at a very reasonable price), find out where they will be playing, read reviews of their concerts, as well as booking them to appear, or even joining the band.

The Miller music has been, and will continue to be, a sound that brings on a nostalgic flavor when one hears it. Be sure to share this site with your relatives, and be sure to enjoy it yourself.

The Glenn Miller site has been vandalized by hackers. They should be dropped onto a desert island with no food, water, or chance of escape.
