The Exhibit Hall

One of the most fascinating portions of my grandparent’s house was the attic. There they kept artifacts and momentos of their life together, which was the history of our family. It was great to visit and learn about distant relatives and stories about where we came from.
Our country has such an attic. It is called the Nation Archives and Records Administration. Here you will find out about anything and everything about our country, with topics ranging from the Constitution to a meeting between the late President Nixon and the late Elvis Presley. Now you can visit this area on the Internet, and see some of the documents and events that have helped shaped our country. Currently there are exhibits about Nixon and Elvis, World War II propaganda, art from the Great Depression and a police report on the assassination of President Lincoln. Artifacts such as these are priceless, but through the miracle of cyberspace, they can now be shared with everyone who wants to look at them. Have a nice visit.
