The Crater Kid

When the “Peanuts” comic strip went away afte the passing of Charles Schulz, I got to thinking how the quality of cartoons and the strips in our newspapers have gone down hill. I remember the adventures of Dick Tracy, Mark Trail, Superman, and others that are long gone. But I found a website that brings back those memories, one that you can have delivered directly to your mailbox every day.
The site is called The Crater Kid, and is a daily cartoon comic that is kid oriented. It is the adventures of Joe Gant, Jr. who is whisked away from his Midwest home to a universe many light years away. Here he has adventures that force him to recognize the difference between right and wrong, heroism and cowardice, and good and bad. Along with his buddies and mentors Diz and the Sponge, there are more adventures than you can shake a stick at.
This is a wonderful site, which as I mentioned before, you can have delivered to your email box every day. Try it out, and enjoy the visit here today.
