We all have an interest in computers. If we didn’t, you probably wouldn’t be reading this right now. But the miracle of electronics that brought you to this point has been a long time coming. A visit to today’s FamSite looks at some of the earliest computers, and uses the latest technology to show that history.
Called The Computer Museum History Center, this is an online site that features the background and history of the machines that today we take for granted. Here you can explore interactively microprocessors and the internet, see what some really old dinosaurs look like, such as the Cray III and the IBM 1620. Mainframe to micro, game machine to artificial intelligence, they are all featured here.
