April Fool’s Day, the official internet holiday, is long past.
But that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop.
For most of us, a well-done, harmless prank is a day lightener, whether it happens to us, or one of our coworkers.
Life is tough sometimes. We all need a good laugh.
Today’s FamilyFirst pick is Top 10 Harmless Geek Pranks.
I’ll review a couple of them. What puts fear into the heart of any Windows user? Why, the Blue Screen of Death (bsod), of course. Downloading and installing the bsod screensaver will cause much salty language to be spouted into the air when your coworker returns from a break.

iPods Around the World

As anyone who has read this site for a while knows, I like my iPod. As a long time PC/Windows user, it pained me to admit that there was an Apple product that superior to anything in the PC world. In the past couple of months, we have looked at iPod sites that showed how much others enjoyed their iPods, and just how much user and fan support there was for these little packages of entertainment. I have found another site, one that is sort of a sub-site to one we visited before, but it is so interesting, I just had to feature it as the Family First Site of the day.

Like most Americans these days, I’m packing a few extra pounds. Truth be told, I’m packing more than a few extra pounds. So I decided to start watching what I eat, and getting a little more exercise. I took to walking in my neighborhood, 2-3 miles a day. But walking is boring, so I decided to get an MP3 player to relieve some of the boredom of the trek. I did a lot of research, and decided on the Apple iPod. Being a dedicated Windows user, I was intrigued by using an Apple product, but was impressed with it, both in its design, and in the software that it used. I purchased it just about the time Apple released the Windows version of their iTunes software. That software is the subject of today’s Family First site.
