VMWare, Revisited

One thing’s for sure about the world of computers: you have to run to keep up.
There are still systems out there running DOS for simple spreadsheet programs to run businesses. There are also many more Windows 95 and 98 systems still chugging away. Windows 2000 is still a fine O/S, IMHO, and many systems using the seven-year-old operating system can run for months between reboots.
XP, when tweaked for performance, is possibly the penultimate Microsoft offering for computer management.
Vista is so heavily loaded with DRM overhead that I doubt that it will ever be adopted without a significant undercurrent of resentment.
