Sometimes it’s hard for moms and dads to remember that when their kid is terrorizing the family with naughty behavior or crabbiness, God still loves those little urchins. I know my kids definitely strengthened my belief in prayer. This new DVD helps assure kids they’ll be all right with God, no matter what.

The newest VeggieTales “God Loves You Very Much” features over 90 minutes of favorite content answering the question “Does He love me?” in three stories – Gideon: Tuba Warrior, which teaches about trust, The Ballad of Little Joe, which teaches kids about facing hardship and Rack, Shack and Benny, to help kids learn about peer pressure. The title, available now, is a follow up to the earlier release “God Made You Special,” released last year.

Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Greg Fritz of Big Idea Entertainment says, “We want to teach a powerful and lifelong lesson to kids and VeggieTales fans with the release of God Loves You Very Much just in time for Valentine’s Day. We feel it’s important to let them know that no matter what, they’ll always be loved.”

This is probably one of the hardest concepts for even adult Christians to grasp – no matter how badly you’ve screwed things up in your past, God will always give you another chance. This is a great foundation for kids to teach them their setbacks won’t harm their relationship with God; he’ll still love them.

The movie quotes Isaiah 54:10 “Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace removed.” (NIV)
