Having an option is nice. Alternatives to the norm can be quite rewarding. Working from a list of choices is fun. When you are faced with making a decision in your life, having more than one choice can make things easier, sometimes it can be harder. In the world of computers and the internet, there are some areas where you have an option or two, and in some areas you don’t. In the world of microprocessors, you can choose Intel or AMD. In the world of internet browsers there are some options, notably Netscape and Internet Explorer. But there is a new on on the street, one that is making the others take notice.

iPod shuffle

Apple has done it again. In the world of portable MP3 players, they are unmatched in both the quality and the simplicity of their devices. Yes, I realize there are other MP3 players available. Some are smaller, some do some things just as well or better than the iPods. But for overall performance, I feel they are without equal.
