Masters.org Revisited

Has there ever been more anticipation for a golf tournament than this year’s Masters?
Tiger has won four titles. When he was a rookie, Jack Nicklaus said he would win ten. So winning this year would get him halfway home.
But Zach Johnson, defending champion, has a thing or two to say bout that.
So does Jerry Kelly, for whom my nephew, Eric Meller, caddies. Kelly came in fifth last year, and that green jacket would look mighty good on him.

The Open Championship

In the US, it’s known as the British Open.
However, in its land of origin, it’s simply known as The Open.
The world’s original national championship of golf wraps up today, with Tiger Woods up by one stroke (at press time) and Jerry Kelly five back. My nephew, Eric Meller, caddies for Kelly (and gets me lots of cooled autographed stuff ;-).

Caddybytes

I just enjoyed a fantastic day playing golf with my nephew, Eric Meller, who has been a PGA Tour caddy for ten years.
Eric’s clients have included Andrew Magee, Cameron Beckman, and his current employer: Corey Pavin.
Oh, and by the way, he shoots scratch golf.
Anyhow, I was thoroughly entertained by Eric’s tales of what touring pros are REALLY like. And it inspired me to pick today’s FamilyFirst site: Caddybytes. Here’s their mission:
