If you missed Steven Curtis Chapman on FOX & Friends this morning, don’t worry. You have several more opportunities this month to hear about him, his family and his new song “Meant to Be” released last month as part of the new VeggieTale’s holiday movie “VeggieTales: It’s a Meaningful Life.”
Chapman will be on Mike Huckabee’s show on Saturday, December 11 on FOX News Channel to talk about his song and his non-profit organization Show Hope, which supports orphan adoption and medical care founded by Chapman and his wife Mary Beth.
The Chapmans are parents to adopted children including his daughter Stevey Joy who plays the voice of “Emma the Rhubarb” in “It’s a Meaningful Life.”
Also this month, Chapman will appear on Good Morning America with Robin Roberts to discuss his song and on-line at Ladies Home Journal. Both will feature videos of his performances of the song “Meant to Be” which he will record at both locations.
Also check out Parade Magazine Sunday, December 26 when they speak with Chapman about his faith, family and latest involvement with VeggieTales.
The “Meant to Be” video currently has over 280 million views from the various outlets it’s been posted to. Here’s a link:
Chapman’s beautiful song not only fits the context of the story (the main character, Stewart, has an adoptive daughter) and the theme of the movie (your life has meaning for you and others) but it is very personal for him having adoptive children himself.
