Santa’s Secret Village

Today we start the 6th Annual Family Site of the Day Holiday Season. We do that by taking a look at a holiday site, one of many that we will visit over the coming month. This one gives our young cyber visitors a chance to visit a very special friend.

Called Santa’s Secret Village, this is a site that allows young ones (and older ones as well) a chance to see what Santa is up to. You can see toys being made, write an email to Santa, visit his den or Mrs. Claus’ kitchen. There are pictures to color and stories to read as well. There is also a special Clubhouse to visit, as well as a Festival of Trees and the Reindeer Barn.

All told, this is very special site. It is full of activities to keep children of all ages entertained. Be sure to book mark this one, as it will come in handy as the big day approaches.

Christmas year-round is an accurate theme for www.northpole.com cause there's lots to do on this site all the time. Recently added are Birthday cards from Santa. Parents can sign their children up to get a personalized e-card direct from Santa Claus. There are stories to read/color, and even stories narrated by one of the many elves. There are all free games to play like checkers with Santa, mazes, word search - there's an online coloring book and recipes galore - or submit your favorite recipe for consideration to be published and shared with millions of other visitors. New activities and games are always being added so come back often.
