Saturated fat is THE ENEMY!
That’s my philosophy. While many people are concerned about carbs, trans fats, and cholesterol, I ignore all of that.
But saturated fats, on the other hand, are something I pay EXTREMELY close attention to.
You see, arterial blockage is one of the biggest killers affecting people my age and older. It is a big contributor to heart attack and stroke. It also necessitates bypass surgery.
But my theory (which is well supported by medical research) is that the avoidance of saturated fats is the single most effective way to keep your arteries unblocked, and the blood flowing smoothly.
So I began cooking and eating healthy when I turned forty.
And when I cooked for company, I received rave reviews. So one day a light bulb went off over my head: the idea popped into my brain that my recipes and cooking techniques needed to be SHARED!
With that, I present today’s FamilyFirst pick: my brand-new site, Ron’s Recipes.
There’s not a lot of content yet. But you can read up on what spices and hardware you’re going to need, how olive oil is your friend, and my first few recipes.
Now here’s the important part: if you’re interested in my delicious, low-saturated fat recipes, make sure you sign up to be notified of future articles! I plan on having this site seriously beefed up with new recipes within a month!
And remember, eating healthy and eating well can go together nicely.
