Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame
January 23, 2004 9 Comments
Since the early 1950′s, the driving force in popular music has become known as rock and roll. Elvis, the Beatles, Buddy Holly, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, the list goes on and on. Today’s Family First Site looks a site that honors the stars of this genre of music.
The site is the online presence of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, located in Cleveland, Ohio. This city is considered the birth of rock, since legend has it that DJ Alan Freed coined those words on the air in this town. Here you can find out about the exhibits that are there (currently one on Elvis), find out about how this music can be used in the classroom, find out about getting tickets, enter a contest, watch and hear video and audio clips, all sorts of things.
So fire up that ’57 Chevy, and head on over to this rockin’ site, one that you will want to bookmark and come back to. Enjoy your stop here today.
