Racing Stripes

Are you looking for a good movie to see, one that the whole family can watch? One that will entertain you with good comedy, one with a rating that won’t force you to show an ID to get in? If so, then the Mayor of WorldVillage has a great one for you to see. Not only it is a great film, but it has an outstanding website that accompanies it. That makes it easy for the Family First Site to tell you about it.

The film is called “Racing Stripes”. The plot is quite simple, an abandoned zebra grows up believing he is a racehorse, and, with the help of his barnyard friends and a teenage girl, sets out to achieve his dream of racing with thoroughbreds. There is a strong cast, with Frankie Muniz (of “Malcom in the Middle” fame) as the voice of Stripes. The website for the film uses the latest in Internet technology to show off the film. At the site, you can watch the movie trailer, enter a contest to win prizes associated with the movie, and a link to purchase tickets to see it using services such as Fandango. There is also a chance for you to ride Stripes in the Zebra Derby. Then you can head on over to the for a few more games, such as Reggie’s Road Race.
I would recommend this movie as a great way to spend a few hours. The entertainment value is good, since it is a film the entire family can see. It is rated PG for language, but I have heard a lot worse on network television. So enjoy the site and the movie, and be sure to tell a friend about it. They even give you that option at the site as well.
