Many parents and caregivers unknowingly put their family’s lives in serious danger. Knowing how to prevent home fires and teaching children what to do in the event of a fire can save their lives. Today’s FamSite looks at a site that is dedicated to preventing the unthinkable from happening.

Called National Safe Kids Campaign, this is a site that helps to educate and make visitors aware of how everyday places and events can be dangerous to little people, and at the same time be made safe for them. There are articles on fire prevention in the home, how to safely transport your children in automobiles, product recalls. In fact there are just about as many different areas here as there are places your little one can get into and play. There is local activities and coalitions for you geographical area as well as an emailed newsletter.

This is a great site for parents and grandparents alike. Forewarned is forearmed, and having a knowledge of how to keep your children safe is much nicer than any other alternative. Enjoy your visit here today, and come back often.
