As we approach the end of the century, it is a good time to reflect on how much our country has changed in the past 100 years. A great place to view some of the documents that are significant in those changes is the subject of today’s FamSite.

It is the National Archives Online, a site that we have visited before. Here you can view actual copies of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. But there are quite a few documents of our past 100 years the can be viewed as well. They include pages from the Marshall Plan, the Apollo 11 moon landing flight plan, a letter from Jackie Robinson, morale building posters from World War II, and details of the meeting between Richard Nixon and Elvis. There are more exhibits here to visit, and not only see but listen to as well.

As we enter a new century, it is a good idea to reflect on the advances of our nation since 1900. We can only wonder what the world will be like in the year 2100. Enjoy your stop here today.
