Muppet’s Home Page

What do you get if you cross a mop with a puppet? Over 35 years ago, a gentleman tired it, and the results live to this day. You get a Muppet, of course. These are rather large longhaired puppets that have long hair (except for Big Bird, who has long legs).
The Family Site today looks at an unofficial site for these critters called the Muppets Home Page. Here is a collection about anything relating to one of the most popular entertainment phenomena for children. You can learn all about the Sesame Street characters such as the Count, Elmo, Bert and Ernie, and other. Then there are the cast from the Muppet Show, such as the Swedish chef, Statler and Waldorf, Scooter, and Gonzo. There is a large amount of reference material here, with an incredible list of links.
This is an unofficial site. But what I have found in the “unofficial” sites for popular and trendy items, is that they are usually more informative and maintained than the official ones. It seems to be due to the labor of love that is put into the sites. This site reflects that feeling, and is well worth a visit and a bookmark.
