Movielink

Technology is changing our daily lives, well, daily. The way I lived as a teenager are so different from the way my kids are living their lives. Call it technology, call it sophistication, call it whatever, things are sure different. I am beginning to understand why my grandfather had such a hard time understanding color television. VCRs and DVDs would have driven him crazy. But today’s Family First site is on that shows just how far we have come in the technology revolution.
When I was growing up, seeing a movie meant on Saturday night, my mom would take me to the theatre (we only had one), and for fifty cents, I had a night of entertainment (twenty five cents to get in, a dime for popcorn, a dime for a soda, and a nickel for candy). Those were the days, and before you ask, yes the movies did have sound and some were even in color. Today we look at a site that is redefining how we watch movies. The site is called Movielink, and the concept is so simple. You just make a few clicks, and presto! the movie is on your computer. The cost is from $1.99 to $4.99, and you can watch it as many times as you want in 24-hour period. You can watch it streaming, or download it for later viewing in that 24 hour period. You can renew it for another period if you want. There are discounts for college students, as well as a military discount (if it was up to me, I give all active duty personel free movies, they deserve it, but then that’s just me talking). There are a wide range of films available, from current hits like Kill Bill Vol. 2 and The Alamo, to National Geographic documentaries, to classic cartoons, and even the original Star Trek movies.
This is a cutting edge technology site that is make the most of the Internet bandwidth it is using. Why not hop over and give it a try. You don’t even have to leave the comfort of your chair.
