Math? Humor? TOGETHER?
I mean come on. What could possibly be funny about that most logical of sciences, mathematics?
Well, as it turns out, plenty.
For instance did you hear about the math major who didn’t bother to turn in his homework? Someone else had already published his theorems, so he didn’t bother.
Okay, that was pretty lame, but give me another chance!
Try this one:
One day, Jesus said to his disciples: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like 3x squared plus 8x minus 9.” St. Thomas looked very confused and asked St. Peter: “What does the teacher mean?” St.Peter replied: “Don’t worry – it’s just another one of his parabolas.”
If inside a circle a line
Hits the center and goes spine to spine
And the line’s length is “d”
the circumference will be
d times 3.14159
Geeky, I know, but math needs to be made more fun. In fact, it DEMANDS it!
