Little Explorers

One of the most fascinating learning experiences that a child can have is to learn to read. But once one starts to read, they have to learn what some of the words they are reading mean. A dictionary is a great help for that, but a book that large can be intimidating. That is where today’s Family First Site comes in to help.

Called Little Explorer’s Picture Dictionary, it is an online dictionary and more. Here you can click on the letter of the alphabet and see what words are there. There are currently over 1100 entries, with more being added all the time. But there are more than English words here, but French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese as well. There are classroom activities, guides for educators, and links to other fun sites as well.

So stop by for an educational treat. It is a fun site to explore and have fun in. It will be a fun journey for you and your little one. Enjoy your stop.
