Saturday, July 31st in Water Mill, NY is the day you cannot miss for grabbing amazing fashions from over 200 designers including Donna Karan, Theory, Carolina Herrera, Calvin Klein, Catherine Malandrino, Charlotte Ronson, Diane von Furstenberg, Elizabeth & James, Giorgio Armani and Ralph Lauren. But don’t worry – if you aren’t in New York that day, you can also shop live on QVC from 2:00-4:00 Eastern.

Super Saturday 13 is a fun-filled, family-oriented, daylong fundraiser to benefit Ovarian Cancer Research Fund’s (OCRF), complete with a one-of-a-kind designer garage sale, kids’ carnival and activities, a luxury raffle and gourmet treats, according to a recent press release. Once dubbed “the Rolls Royce of garage sales,” the most anticipated element of Super Saturday is the fashion garage sale. This is the 13th year for this amazing event, which raised over $3.7 million for OCRF in 2009.
Donna Karan, Ariel Foxman and InStyle are also co-hosting the event with Ripa.
The special Super Saturday Accessories Salon will showcase luxury accessories – past designers have included Louis Vuitton, Emilio Pucci and Tory Burch. For the third consecutive year, the “Designers A to Zoe” booth by Rachel Zoe will feature luxury designers such as Chloe, Derek Lam, Giuseppe Zanotti, Judith Leiber, Kara Ross, Oscar de la Renta, Stella McCartney and Temperley London.
Once again, OCRF has joined forces with leading multimedia retailer QVC® to make this exciting event available to shoppers nationwide. Broadcasting live from 2:00PM – 4:00PM (ET), QVC Presents Super Saturday Live will offer viewers the chance to purchase a variety of products including apparel, accessories, jewelry and beauty at amazing prices with all net proceeds benefiting OCRF.
In addition to the incredible shopping, Super Saturday 13 will offer attendees an action-packed afternoon of indulgences. The Physique 57 Pedicure Salon will help shoppers put their best foot forward by revitalizing tired, shopped-out feet. Men can take a load off and escape the heat at the Nintendo Men’s Lounge, where they can grab a cocktail while playing their favorite Nintendo Wii games in this interactive gaming lounge. Ladies can stop by Votre Vu’s VuBAR Airstream for relaxing botanical hand therapy or sun-shielding treatment for skin, lips and hair.
For children at Super Saturday 13 there will be rides, games and arts and crafts galore. This summer at Camp Divalysscious, kids will experience special performances from Broadway Babies, Miss Pinkie and Laughing Pizza. Kid stars will enjoy activities such as arts and crafts, s’more making and decorating musical instruments and picture frames. Plus fun entertainment including Wendy The Pipe Cleaner Lady, Dan The Drummer, Face Painting, Balloon Artistry and portraits by photographer Heidi Green. At the Success for Kids tent, adults and kids can create their very own books on “What the World Looks Like At Its Best” and personalize t-shirts alongside graffiti artist Andre Charles.
Super Saturday was created in 1998 by Karan, the late Liz Tilberis and OCRF’s President Faith Kates Kogan. Karan has underwritten the event since its founding and all net proceeds raised go directly to OCRF’s research programs. InStyle has been a sponsor and host of Super Saturday since 2001.

About Ovarian Cancer Research Fund
The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) is the largest private non-profit organization in the United States dedicated exclusively to funding ovarian cancer research. Our mission is to find a method of early detection and ultimately a cure for ovarian cancer. Each year there will be approximately 22,000 new cases of ovarian cancer in the United States, and about 15,500 women will die of the disease. Currently there is no effective means of early detection. Since 1998, OCRF has given over $33 million for ovarian cancer research. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, OCRF sponsored researchers are developing innovative strategies for early detection; exploring the genetics that increase risk for ovarian cancer; understanding the underlying molecular biology of the disease; identifying new and better targets for treatment; and deciphering how and why ovarian cancer spreads, and how to stop it.
