Just For Kids Who Love Books

Reading has always been a passion of mine. I developed that passion growing up as a child. I loved to read all sorts of books, from classics to Dr. Seuss. Today’s FamSite is one that I wish had been around when I was a child, I would have spent even more time with my nose in a book.
The site is called Just For Kids Who Love Books. It is an online site about all sorts of books that will interest children of all ages. From timeless classics such as Alice In Wonderland to new classics such as Charlotte’s Web there are descriptions of the books, as well as links to other sites about the book. In the Charlotte’s Web page, you can link to pages with puzzles, summaries, and quizzes about the book. There are sections on what I call series books, or a collection of books that feature recurring characters) my favorite was the Hardy Boys). Here you can find out about the Boxcar Children, Madeline, Powderpuff Girls, and the Babysitter’s Club. There is also an extensive listing of authors and related sites, allowing readers to find out about the authors of their favorite books, and possibly to even write and correspond with them.
This is a wonderful site that young readers will enjoy, especially if they are looking for a good book to read. Looking at it just prior to going to the library will make that a pleasant trip. It is a good one for parents who want to know what their children are reading. Enjoy your stop here today.
