Former police officer, attorney and Florida Circuit Court Judge Alex E. Ferrer hosts JUDGE ALEX, the highly-rated Twentieth Television courtroom strip, now in its sixth season.
Ferrer is the only television judge with a triumvirate of experience in police, legal and judicial work. He presides over a wide array of cases, resolving complicated issues with his straight forward approach and cogent rulings.
Ferrer lives in Miami with his wife and their two children. A licensed pilot, his interests also include scuba diving, sculpting, music and running marathons.
Ferrer’s Cuban roots provide a rich heritage for his family traditions and some delicious foods too! Listen for his wonderful stories about his family both from his childhood and his current family.
In the interview, you’ll hear about fondue, boiled shrimp, paella and celebrating Noche Bueno. You will also hear about how eating a dozen grapes and throwing out a bucket of water can give you good luck, where Ferrer likes to spend the holidays with his family, and how he makes his kids work a little for their present.
Check out Ferrer’s website www.judgealex.com for more information about Ferrer, the JUDGE ALEX show, as well as the Gavel Quest sweepstakes which ends this Friday where you can enter to win a specially-painted gavel designed by Ferrer’s wife.
