Former police officer, attorney and Florida Circuit Court Judge Alex E. Ferrer hosts JUDGE ALEX, the highly-rated Twentieth Television courtroom strip, now in its sixth season.

Ferrer is the only television judge with a triumvirate of experience in police, legal and judicial work. He presides over a wide array of cases, resolving complicated issues with his straight forward approach and cogent rulings.

Ferrer lives in Miami with his wife and their two children. A licensed pilot, his interests also include scuba diving, sculpting, music and running marathons.

Ferrer’s Cuban roots provide a rich heritage for his family traditions and some delicious foods too! Listen for his wonderful stories about his family both from his childhood and his current family.

In the interview, you’ll hear about fondue, boiled shrimp, paella and celebrating Noche Bueno. You will also hear about how eating a dozen grapes and throwing out a bucket of water can give you good luck, where Ferrer likes to spend the holidays with his family, and how he makes his kids work a little for their present.

Dear Judge Alex, Today was the first time I saw your show. You remind me of Judge Craig Doran (Canandaigua, NY), he was also who was one of my Professors while I pursued my Bachelors in Criminal Justice. I also sat in his courtroom on many occasions as a court advocate assisting people and a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate). I am going to look forward to seeing more of your shows. I do not watch TV often but you bring back the wonderful memories. Thank you.

I don't think it was necessary to make the comment about being married for twenty-four years and it insinuated that you are being ignored and you are use to it because of being married that long. I hope your wife doesn't take offense to that remark. This was on your show August 23 with the case between Marvin and Jason.

Hi Judge Alex, You are an amazing Judge. I have alot of respect for you. Considering your background and how hard you worked to become the man and the Judge that you are that really shows your true character. I really enjoy your show. Dear Judge Alex. As i was watching you on TV one day You said"I don't know what happens to us when we die' and "I don't know if GOD is a man or a woman." I just want to let you know Sir that We have a choice of where we go when we die. That is Heaven or hell. Heaven if we ask Jesus to Save us,and hell if we do not, Where ever we go it will be forever. Heaven is good but hell is torment. Please read a Bible and speak to a pastor to find out what you should do to have eternal life. then you can share it with your family and love ones so that they may have eternal life as well. GOD is a Spirit not a man. GOD Bless you Sir.Thank you for reading my e-mail. Sincerely Doris Smith
