Have you ever watched the night sky, and looked at the stars and imagined yourself up there, traveling around and visting new places. Then you see a bright dot moving across the sky, and you wonder, is that a satellite, or what? Looking at the sky can be more fun and educational after a vist at today’s FamSite.

Called J-Pass Satellite Passes, this site is a maintained by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) at the Manned Spaceflight Center. Here you can track the movements of satellites as they move across the sky, and visit your neighborhood. Only a few satellites are visible with the naked eye or even aided with binoculars. But once you see a satellite pass at night, you might think it was a UFO or meteor (falling star). NAsa developed J-Pass to help you view some of the most visible satellite passes. In my part of the world, the International Space Station will be visible for several weeks during the night.

So check this site out, it will be a great way to find out about what is going on “up there”. Enjoy your visit today, and come back soon.
