Human Anatomy Online

A few weeks ago, we visited a site that explored the inner workings of the automobile. What is a carburetor? Where is the fuel filter, and why do I need to change it? Those were some of the basics that were touched on at that site. Today, we will be visiting another site by the same people, but a little different topic. Let’s take a look at the human body.

The site, called Human Anatomy On-line, is an interactive and fun site where a visitor can learn about, what else, human anatomy. It can be done interactively, or in the form of on-line lessons. There are over one hundred illustrations, as well as thousand of links. Animations help show how parts of the body work, such as the circulatory system. The site makes extensive use of Java applets, so ensure that the support for them is enabled in your browser. This is not only an informative site, but fun and informal as well. I always wanted to see what my tonsils were really for, since I lost mine at age 7. Now I know. (And you will too, if you visit this site).

Have a pleasant stop here. Sites such as this one show the true power of the Internet, and supporting them is important. I am looking forward to the next product from this group.
