Googol Learning

There was one subject in school that humbled me: mathematics. I just didn’t have the right brain makeup to do math. That’s why I can sympathize with people who just can’t get the hang of something like spelling. In the words of Mark Twain, “everyone’s ignorant, only in different subjects.”
Perhaps if today’s FamilyFirst site would have been around when I was a kid, I might be more proficient at math today.
It’s called Googol Learning. They use music to teach your kids math! Here’s their mission:

Blending education into music is a fast, easy and natural way for children to learn, but children’s music doesn’t have to be less entertaining or intelligent than adult music. Kids deserve to have quality songs that they can enjoy; songs that expands their world and that they can still sing in the shower!
Are you old enough to remember Schoolhouse Rock? I still have “Conjunction Junction” running through my mind. Basically, Googol Learning takes the same approach with slickly produced songs and videos.
These folks are offering products for sale to play at home. And I recommend you consider purchasing them to let your kids learn while they’re being entertained. But there are also a lot of free online resources. The streaming radio is free (and fun education), and there are also lessons, online games, and even poems to get your kids in a math-learning mode.
So check out today’s FamilyFirst site and get your kids learning while they’re having fun!
