Giving Help, Giving Hope

Getting sick is something that we all face everyday. I am battling a cold that has been hanging on for a week. But sometimes there are family members or friends that have serious life threatening illnesses. Dealing with those can be very challenging and trying. But the Internet is providing more and more resources, as today’s Family First Site shows.

Called Giving Help, Giving Hope, this site is the online presence of the National Brain Tumor Foundation. They are a national not-for-profit health organization dedicated to providing information and support for brain tumor patients, family members, and healthcare professionals, while supporting innovative research into better treatment options and a cure for brain tumors. This site was created by patients, family, friends, and health care professionals to provide information on treatment options and resources, opportunities to connect with others similarly afflicted, and to give hope while dealing with these illnesses.

This is a tremendous site for showing the power of the Internet. Spreading information that can help others is a powerful and important tool, and this site is a great example of it. Enjoy your stop here today.
