Computers are appearing in the homes of users who know absolutely nothing about computers.
Combine that with an operating system like Windows, and you have serious problems.
Ergo the need for tech support.
However, tech support ain’t cheap. When I do a little tech support on the side, I get 40 bucks an hour. That’s dirt cheap.


But free tech support is available, if you know where to look for it. For instance, there’s today’s FamilyFirst pick: Free PC Tech. Here’s their mission:

The site is loaded with forums, guides, articles, downloads, and other goodies. And it’s aimed at the newbie. So pop in and get yourself some free tech support!
