Free Books through a New Swapping Website

While the library is still a great place to take the kids this summer, you can also get books through a new website called Booksfreeswap.com . It’s free to join and offers both books and audiobooks to its members. All you do is pay shipping for the books you want.

You can create wish lists and you will get email alerts when your desired books enter the swap pool. It’s a great way to cycle through the books you’d like to read but may not want buy or may not be available at the library. You get to clean out your bookshelves too.
Booksfree.com, the largest online book rental service has now launched the free book and audio book swap site BooksfreeSwap.com to the general public, according to a recent press release. The free swap site allows the reading community to trade their hardcover books, paperback books, audio books and textbooks online.
While Booksfree.com is the most convenient and popular way to get the current and past paperback and audiobooks you want, BooksfreeSwap brings Hardcover and Textbooks to the mix, including hard to find, out of print titles, according to the Booksfree website.
Some of the larger Children’s categories include Action & Adventure like Eragon and The Darkest Hour from the Warriors series, Animals, Fantasy & Magic, Humor and Social Issues. The social issues categories largest sub-categories include self-esteem/self-reliance, emotions and values and virtues.
For adults, the larger categories include biography/autobiography, political science, education (textbooks), and social science. They also offer several thousand audiobook selections. You can search the catalog by Title, Author or ISBN number as well.
So make a wishlist, enter the books you would like to “liberate” and get swapping. Plus, your kids will love getting a package in the mail with a brand “new” book!
