Field of Daisies

The newest Internet craze seems to be blogs. I’m not quite sure I understand the whole thing, but then I’m hitting 50 next month, and a lot of new things don’t make sense to me. But it seems that blogs give anyone with a computer and Internet access the ability to spread their philosophy and ideas, and to share them with anyone who drops by. Kind of like a chat over the backyard fence, only in cyberspace.

Today’s Family First Site is just such a site. Called Field of Daisies, this site is the results of some very fine work by Mary Comm, the wife of the mayor of WorldVillage. Here you can read some interesting articles on a wide range of topics, from politics, to children growing up, to parents. What sets this site aside from others like it, is the spiritual feelings that Mary puts into her writing. While there is a religious spirit throughout the site, it is not overpowering, nor does it have an “in-your-face” attitude. There is a true feeling of serenity and contentment that radiates from her articles, one that can only emanate from one that truly feels the Holy Spirit.

This is a very pleasant site to visit, and to come back to often. After a few visits, you will feel like you are visiting with an old friend.

HOW do you get into the MaryComm site? - this link merely opens a blank yellow page with daisies along the top. ;-)
