A good painting is a pleasure to view. It can be relaxing, or it can be a study in trying to figure out what the artist is trying to say. These days, finding a message in a painting can be very difficult.

But at today’s FamSite, one can visit a gallery in England, and see some of the most pleasant paintings in the world. Called Collage, it is an online site of an image database containing 20,000 works from the Guildhall Library and Guildhall Art Gallery London. Here you can view and download some very interesting paintings in several categories, showing the many sides to the history of Great Britain. The variety is truly amazing.

So enjoy your stop here today, and come back often.
