Campaign Trail 2004

Okay, the conventions are over, and the campaigning starts to get hot and heavy. For the next two months, the airwaves will be hot and heavy with all sorts of political ads from both candidates, and many (too many, in my opinion) from “527″ groups. Everytime you turn around, you will be bombarded with someone wanting your vote. Don’t you wish you could do something about it? Well, with the help of today’s Family First site, you can, in a cyberspace sort of way.

The site is called Campaign Trail 2004, and it is an interactive online game that allows you manage either George W. Bush or John Kerry. You assume the role of campaign manager, and choose where to send the candidates, both President and Vice Pesident. You are also given a certain amount of money to buy advertising to influence and persuade voters to vote for your candidate. This is your chance to see if you can influence how the campaign goes, and if you can influence the future of our country.
So stop on over and have some fun. But keep in mind that this is just a game, and the real life campaign goes on. It is the responsibility and priviledge of all Americans to exercise our right to vote. It is a cherished freedom that most of us (look at the figures of the last elections, and you will see what that it is true) fail to exercise. So get out and vote.

VotingBush: Take a look at a couple of the sponsoring links here- Going Up River (supposed to be about 'JK's Vietnam'; wonder if it shows him doing any of the war crimes he said he'd done?) and Give Bush The Boot, a site from Move On. Seems pretty plain to me that whoever wrote the article above is only sad that the Swift Boat Vets were able to run their ad against Kerry, since they are taking money from the worst of the '527' groups. This year I'll vote Republican, proudly!
