Band of Brothers

A few years ago, one of the hit movies was “Saving Private Ryan”. Through that film director/producer Steven Speilberg brought the horrors of the D-Day invasion to the movie screen. Now, in collaboration with “Ryan” star Tom Hanks, they have brought another story that will have the same impact to the small screen.

The new HBO mini-series “Band of Brothers” tells the story of one company of paratroopers and the part they played in the war. From their training in Georgia to their liberation of Hitler’s Eagles Nest retreat, it is all here. The Battle of the Bulge, the Invasion of Normandy, the long, boring training in England before it all started. Hanks and Speilberg have recreated it all with amazing historical accuracy. This site compliments the program which will air over the next 9 weeks.
