It seems, as far as computer go these days, that every time one turns around there is new technology to learn about. The challenges of what ram to use, what motherboard to consider, or should I buy a system or build one. Today’s FamSite is one that helps one to understand those technical jungles, and make a well-informed decision.

The site is called AnandTech, and is named after the editor-in-chief and CEO of the site. Here you can find out about the latest products that are available to consumers. Whether you are looking for a motherboard (as I was), or wanting to find out about the latest trend in what kind of ram you should put in your machine, you will find the information here. There are well written and easy to understand reviews, broken into different component areas. You can subscribe to updates that will notify you when new items are posted, as well as participate in online polls. One thing I really liked about the site was being able to write the author of an article about a motherboard he reviewed, and I purchased. He not only replied, but we exchanged information about our experiences with that particular board.
This is a great site to bookmark, and keep as a reference site. Who knows when you or someone you know will need it. Enjoy your visit here today.

  1. Anandtech is a really good site for finding information on PC reviews, and what hardware to get. I found that once I had the hardware, there were lots of questions about what I should do to my PC to get it networked, protected against viruses, and so forth... I found a great little website called PCstats.com that had dozens of Beginners Guides that are really helpful, and totally family friendly.
