An American Thanksgiving
November 25, 1999 No Comments
Called An American Thanksgiving, this site looks at the First Thanksgiving, traditions, fund for kids, recipes, games, menus, and more. There are graces and psalms, and you can read George Washington’s 1783 Thanksgiving Proclamation (long thought to be lost), and one that Abraham Lincoln wrote almost four score years later during a terrible time in our country. There is poetry, stories, and enough games to entertain children of all ages.
So enjoy your visit here today, and get ready for the shopping season, which starts tomorrow.
