Personal computers have been hawked in the media since the late 70′s.
Most of us back then didn’t actually spring for the expensive toys that often required their own programming.
But that didn’t stop big colorful ads from trying to convince us that the time was ripe to take the computer plunge and begin doing things digitally.
Today’s FamilyFirst pick is called 10 Incredible Old Computer Ads.

The Advertisements run a wide gamut, from hard drives priced at an incredible 80 megabytes for less than $12,000 to Isaac Asimov hawking his favorite color computer, which, of course, was the Radio Shack-sold TRS-80.
I’ll bet many of you had the venerable Trash-80′s yourself.
Whether or not you were computing in the aulde days, you will enjoy today’s FamilyFirst offering, a trip down digital memory lane.
